Pupil Premium

The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers.The main barriers to learning that the school seeks to overcome for these pupils: the emotional effects of turbulent family lives and related safeguarding issues; poor attendance; limited opportunities to develop early communication and social skills and limited opportunities to wider experiences to extend learning and develop new talents/interests
