NURSERY APPLICATIONS

https://www.stoke.gov.uk/info/20033/school_admissions/133/nursery_admissions

Every child is entitled to receive 570 hours of early years provision over a minimum of 38 weeks of the year (15 hours per week). Attending a nursery class does not guarantee a place in a school's reception class. Many private, voluntary and independent childcare providers (including day nurseries, pre-schools and child minders) are also authorised to deliver early education for children aged three and four.

RECEPTION APPLICATIONS

https://www.stoke.gov.uk/info/20033/school_admissions/132/reception_class_admissions

Anyone who pays their council tax to Stoke-on-Trent City Council can use our application form to apply for a place for their child in the reception class at a publicly funded primary school in England. If you pay your council tax to a different council, please use their application form, even if you want to apply for a Stoke-on-Trent school.

Please read the  Primary School Prospectus to find out about the reception class application process and admission arrangements for Stoke-on-Trent schools.

Please note: The deadline for applications is 15 January. Please make sure you apply on time to avoid disadvantage. The easiest way to do this is by completing our online application form here: All on-time applicants will be notified of the school offered on 16 April. Late applications will be dealt with after on-time applications resulting in confirmation of the school offered on 1 May at the earliest.
