Collective Worship
Collective worship is a term we use to represent the time we spend together reflecting on the character of God and on the teachings of Christ, affirming our Christian values and attitudes and sharing each other’s joys and challenges.
At Hanley St Luke's, all children take part in daily acts of collective worship. We take this time to be still and reflect, explore the big questions of life and respond to national events. It is inclusive, invitational and inspirational; allowing our children to engage in an act of community, to express and praise God, to foster respect and deepen our spiritual awareness.
At Hanley St Luke's Collective worship takes many different forms:
- Whole school worship (Monday)
- Classroom worship (Tuesday)
- Singing worship (Wednesday)
- Whole school worship (Thursday)
- Celebration worship (Friday)
