The Sharing Shelf.
As we know times are hard and at Hanley St Lukes we are here to help. We have many companies that donate and want to support our lovely community. If you are in need of anything please speak to a member of staff. These items are located in the main office and if you feel you need anything please pop in, we would kindly ask that if you are ever able to give back at a later date or donate something then please do so.

💻 Safer Internet Day 💻
All of Key Stage 2 took part in an online Safer Internet lesson to learn how to stay safe online.
Year 3 then created their own catchy rap explaining how to stay safe online.
Have a listen 🎧
Excellent work children! I think we’ve got a new online safety song 😀👏🏻👏🏻

Beware of the scammer they might trick you,
So tell a trusted adult before you get scammed.

We celebrated NSPCC Number Day, a special event that combines fun with learning to raise awareness and support for a great cause. But that’s not all—we also had the opportunity to unleash our inner mathematicians in the brand-new STEM Lab, where we spent the day diving into problem-solving activities, puzzles, and challenges. It was a day filled with creativity, teamwork, and of course, lots of maths!
Well done to Riley C!
He is the winner of the naming competition for our school pets~ our African snails… all classes voted and these names were the unanimous favourites!
🐌 They are now called: Pikachu, Charmander, Charizard and Bulbasaur. 🐌
⚽️ On Friday 31st January, we celebrated former pupil Sir Stanley Matthews by officially opening our STAN HUB. ‘Sir Stanley Matthews Day’ began with an official breakfast with special guests, Sir Stan’s daughter, Jean Gough , Emily Verow CEO of Three Spires Trust, Lord Marcus Watts, ASM Sports, former staff and of course our wonderful children both past and present.
Sir Stan’s message of humility, respect and kindness are still relevant to our children today. Above any talent , kindness and respect both on and off the football pitch, in and outside of the classroom are key to a better more peaceful world. ⚽️ 🌎
Young Voices ! Wow! What a night!
Our super talented Young Voices choir performed in Birmingham as part of a 6000 pupil choir. They were a credit to us all from the start to a very late finish. Well done and thank you.
A big thank you to our music and performance lead , Mrs Clarke and those who supported .
Here are a selection of photos from our amazing night at Young Voices. Always such a privilege to take the children. They love it and to watch their faces light up when they sing makes us so proud! A huge well done to you all!
We are delighted to have been awarded a Silver Award!
Every Artsmark Award is a significant achievement. This award recognises our commitment to embedding arts culture and creativity across our school.
We are pleased to share our feedback from our assessors.
"Engaging with the arts is having tangible results on pupils, staff, and parental engagement. Arts and cultural capital feature in school planning and are supported by SLT and a skills-based scheme of work for Art and Design. Pupils access a consistent range of experiences in school and on visits outside the classroom which leads to showcasing within school and the local community. It’s great to hear about your focus on reading, using arts such as drama within other subjects, and how you are working mindfully with the cultures within your school community. Your newly developed Arts Ambassadors are great for pupil voice activities."
